    Main Function of Role:


    The role of the Assistant Manager, Real Estate Health& Safety & Insurance is to support the Risk Management Team, in the delivery of health & safety and insurance across the operational portfolio and the delivery of innovative risk management policies and practices in support of the wider real estate team.


    They will be required to liaise with the appointed Property Managers, insurance brokers and other external consultants, contributing to the effective delivery of a cohesive and effective risk and environmental management team.

    The Assistant Manager will ensure appropriate health and safety operational management is undertaken on site through close observation and monitoring as well as supporting the delivery of an effective insurance programme through effective administrative support which maintains compliance and best practice.


    They will provide accurate and effective administrative back up to the Risk team, paying particular attention to ensuring that the data streams required by the Building Safety Act are maintained and all activities are recorded in line with Regulator requirements.


    They will provide full administrative support for all Steering Group, Monthly meetings and other scheduled meetings, and support the Risk team in effective diary management and other administrative activities.

    What are the tasks and responsibilities of the role?

    full administrative support to ensure the effective running of the Asset Risk Management programme to enable all compliance requirements to be addressed and met.

    the ongoing maintenance of accurate data streams, specifically in relation to the Building Safety Act and the residential portfolio.

    the Team in delivering the strategic performance of risk mitigation and management across the business against agreed KPI's through the establishment of reporting and monitoring protocols and processes.

    the Team through effective administrative practices in their oversight of the Property Managers, external managers, and any others responsible for H&S and Insurance activities.

    the operational insurance placement, by operating an effective data management solution to ensure best in class coverage is achieved on each property, working alongside the Associate Director, Real Estate Insurance and Compliance, appointed brokers and other insurance professionals.

    on additional projects as required by the Director, Associate Directors and other colleagues across the wider Hermes Team.
    administrative support to the Director in all elements of Real Estate fire risk strategy and Building Safety Act Regulator requirements, including stakeholder and peer group engagement, consultant management, data management oversight and delivery of Safety Case Files as necessary

    CSR and stakeholder liaison project programme, assisting in the delivery of HREIM policy and policy statements, including H&S Policies and Anti-Slavery Policy delivery.

    to the FCA's Conduct Rules, understanding that they set basic standards of good personal conduct.

    Assistant Manager, is responsible for providing effective administrative support to enable the delivery of all real estate fire risk and Building Act matters across the PRS and mixed used portfolio, including the accurate maintenance of all associated data streams and liaison with managing agents as appropriate.

    administrative support and information data to enable the Director to provide accurate reporting to HREIM and client boards on all fire risk, Building Safety and Residential development and construction matters.

    Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of all insurance and compliance activities across the Real Estate portfolio in line with stated Policies, procedures and relevant legislative guidelines and requirements.
