Description
Makes interpretive judgements using post graduate level knowledge of Biomedical Sciences, with the benefit of a minimum two year's post HCPC registration experience and an IBMS specialist portfolio in Microbiology.
Will demonstrate skills and knowledge required for the safe handling of hazardous chemical and biological materials. A permanent vacancy has arisen within Microbiology.The Microbiology team have been very flexible and adapted to changing service needs through the the pandemic.
Following training the successful candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of routine and out of hrs service.
Shift participation between 8am and 8 pm, 5 days a weeks, working 9am-5.30pm on weekends and bank holidays and participating in covering the overnight service provision, all on a rotational basis.
The Microbiology department is within the Pathology Department at KGH and part of the Family Health Division.Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest employers in the area and we are on an exciting journey.
