The main task of the London based Associate position is supporting the team's origination efforts in the European energy transition sector, especially onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage.
The bank is positioned as one of the top 5 players in Europe in this sector, with over 60GW of renewable energy financed worldwide to date.
You will be working predominantly with English speaking clients, across various European countries.Job Description:
in the identification and development of new business opportunities.
in pitching process, including preparation of bid packages, pitch books, pricing & profitability assessments, ratings
in the negotiation of client mandates, advisor appointments and project and finance documentation.
in carrying out financial analysis, risk analysis and other project specific due diligence.
with the preparation of internal resource and credit application
with other internal stakeholders, including Distribution, Agency, Compliance, Portfolio Management, Legal.
Ideal Requirements:
of 2 years relevant experience
familiarity of project finance structures, cash flow models and documentation
personality with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
in MS Office package (desirable)
Business fluent in English, further European language skills are considered positively.
Flexibility and willingness to travel, mainly in Europe. Travel may be required at short notice.
