Their portfolio includes some of the largest and most prestigious projects in the midlands; The majority of their work is Design & Build and the enjoy a large degree of negotiated work with their clients which is testimony the quality of their product and service.
They have a reputation as an excellent employer and given the large degree of success in work winning they are consequently looking to strengthen their planning department with an additional Planner.
Anticipating the continued growth of the business they are ideally looking for a Planner who would be keen to progress their career and can offer the investment, training and support to offer real opportunities for career advancement.
The Construction Planner roleThe Construction Planner responsibilities will include:
Work with both the pre-construction and delivery teams within the business
Working on major projects typically valued at £10-100 Million.
Involvement at an early stage developing construction programmes.
Supporting the delivery teams, ensuring projects are running according to programme.
Developing programmes using Asta planning software.
Identify and mitigate risks to the programme.
A successful track record of working as a Planner for a main contractor who undertake projects valued in excess of £10 Million is essential and ideally you should hold an HNC or degree and in a construction related discipline.
