    Chief Financial Officer - Renewable Energy/EV Charging Business (VC Backed)

    c.£150,000 - £170,000 + Bonus + Equity | London (Hybrid)

    Finatal is partnered with an innovative player in the renewable energy and electric vehicle charging industry that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their dynamic team. The company is poised for significant growth, driven by both technological advancements, and anticipated regulatory changes in the sector. Specializing in EV charging infrastructure, they are seeking a strategic financial leader to lead the scaling up of the business and ultimately execute a successful exit sale in years to come.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leading and developing a dynamic finance team, overseeing acquisitions, and strategically expanding the organizational footprint.
    • Driving the growth of the finance function, ensuring scalability and efficiency in line with expanding business objectives.
    • Overseeing financial operations, including managing cash flow, financial reporting, and budgeting, to support the manufacturing, installation, and sales of EV charging solutions.
    • Actively engaging with the executive team to facilitate negotiations and ensure adherence to commercial agreements, contracts, and Power Purchase Agreements.
    • Spearheading Financial Due Diligence processes, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

    Requirements:

    • A proven track record as an FD/CFO within the renewable energy or electric vehicle charging sector, showcasing a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
    • Demonstrated success in managing finance functions amidst periods of growth and organizational expansion.
    • Expertise in negotiating and enforcing commercial contracts within the renewable energy landscape.
    • Prior experience in a private equity or venture-capital backed business is essential.
    • Strong leadership skills in conducting Financial Due Diligence processes and navigating exit sale scenarios in collaboration with external partners.
