    Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for a band 5 Registered Nurse to join the Out of Hours team working 23 hours per week.

    5 hour shift pattern between the hours of 8pm and 8am, 2 shifts per week.


    Applications are invited from registered nurses who wish to join a friendly, dynamic and progressive team based within City Health Care Partnership CIC Out of Hours Nursing team.

    The service operates across Hull and East Riding providing care for patients requiring nursing intervention in their own home.

    You must be flexible in your approach to practice, have excellent communication skills, be adaptable and be able to lead and drive forward change ensuring patient safety is maintained at all times.

    You will be joining dynamic and proactive nursing teams which working in partnership with associated health and social care providers.

    Degree in Nursing Studies / First level Registered Nurse or working towards final assessment to achieve first level registration

    Demonstrate an understanding of the role of a community nurse
    Knowledge of local initiatives
    Evidence of professional development
    Basic health and safety awareness
    Experience of working within a healthcare setting
    Experience of multi-agency working
    Experience of working within a community setting
    To have recently worked within a nursing capacity
    To be able to provide education to patients, carers, staff and other health care professionals
