An opportunity has arisen to joinour dedicated Booking Office team, based at Loughborough Hospital. Working aspart of our Booking Office team, you will be central to the operation of theMSK service within LPT.
you will come into regulartelephone contact with patients accessing all of our clinics, around the Cityand County . Youwill also provide administrative support as required to those therapy teams.
Accessing the SystmOne electronicpatient record system to record referrals, book appointments and note keycomments regarding interactions, it is important that you are confident to usea phone with headset and a computer. Full training to use SystmOne will beprovided. Due to the nature of the role, a telephone usage test may beadministered as part of the interview process.
We are aware that there will be asteep learning curve on joining the team, and want you to be reassured that youwill be trained and supported every step of the way. Due to the nature of therole and of the Booking Office function, home working is not suitable for thisposition.
The Hours of working will be to Monday to Friday
Main duties of the job
The majority of your time will be taken up by making and receiving calls from and to patients and their representatives. Most of these conversations will involve routine enquiries, including patients calling to refer themselves in for physiotherapy. For a lot of our patients, a telephone call to the Booking Office is the first contact they have with our service so obviously we want the experience to be a positive one.
