    About The Role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ashbarn Veterinary Surgery for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

    How does working a lovely converted barn in a beautiful area sound to you? Ashbarn Vets is located in Ockley, Dorking, right at the foot of the Surrey Hills. If you're a keen cyclist, then Dorking is the place for you with it recently being dubbed the cycling capital of England If cycling's not for you, then why not visit the historic market town or spend a sunny afternoon at Denbies Wine Estate? Plenty to do in such a lovely area

    The train station is only a short 10 minute walk from the practice, and we're not far from London Gatwick Airport too

    The team morale here is high and the level of care outstanding so we really are seeking a special RVN to help us grow further.

    We offer an obscene amount of high value CPD and progression as we genuinely want your career as a valued nurse to fly

    We have the best teams in the area and we use our knowledge and skill to promote the very best first opinion care outside of referral.

    Our popular, community friendly feel surgery really do value our important RVN's and appreciate the wealth of knowledge and care that is necessary in your prestigious role.

    This is a friendly, progressive, fast paced and rewarding environment where great team spirit makes a difference and job satisfaction is a high priority.

    You must be highly competent in monitoring GA's, theatre work, lab work, taking bloods and caring for the pets who need you.

    Our hours are 40 per week over 5 days working 8:45am - 5:15pm, no weekends or OOHs are not required at present but there may be a requirement in the near future to join the Arthur Lodge weekend rota. There is a large budget for CPD to satisfy your passion to progress. There is the opportunity to join the OOHs rota - we have a new night service launching soon nearby with a dedicated night team, and would be happy to discuss the opportunity to get your hands on those ECC cases if you would like

    Salary: Up to £34,000, Depending on Experience
