    Description

    Python and MLOps Developer - London - Hybrid

    My client is dedicated to making the world's intractable data interactable. They address the challenge of sharing essential data needed to solve global problems. Current data infrastructure limitations result in slow, costly, and often ineffective workarounds for collaborations between trusted partners. My client is developing a secure network to enable organisations to send algorithms to data, allowing data benefits to be shared without moving the data, compromising privacy, or exposing raw data.

    They are currently focusing on applying their platform to clinical trials within the healthcare sector. This initiative aims to facilitate privacy-preserving collaboration between healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies, reducing friction in the process and accelerating the delivery of critical medicines to those in need.

    Thanks to growth, they're seeking a senior Python Software Engineer with expertise in MLOps and ideally desktop app development to join their Engineering team. This role involves developing a cutting-edge desktop application and its associated Python backend. The app enables users to deploy, use, and build ML models collaboratively and perform data analytics in a privacy-preserving manner. The application runs on the user's hardware, posing unique challenges in maintaining flexibility and robustness across different environments.

    Key Technologies Needed for the Role

    • Python: Proficiency in Python and Python unit testing + 5 years
    • MLOps: Experience with machine learning operations, including training and deploying ML models.
    • Automated Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of frameworks that contribute to continuous integration pipelines.
    • Container Technologies: Experience with tools such as Docker.
    • Desktop Application Development: Familiarity with developing and deploying desktop applications.
    • DevOps Practices: Understanding modern DevOps practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
    • ML Frameworks: Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or NumPy.
