PermanentVacancy for a Full Time, Salaried ANP (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) (Can be fouror five days a week but we are flexible)
The salary is tobe negotiated (depending on experience) but will be a minimum of £50,000+ and up to £60,000
This is apermanent vacancy replacing a current Practitioner who is moving on
We arelooking for a motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to help us cover this highperforming and friendly GP surgery. Thiswould suit either an experienced ANP or someone recently qualified. We would needsomeone who is an independent prescriber. The preference is for someone with Primary Care experience. The position is usually four or five daysper week and the days and times are flexible. We are looking at starting around and finishing around We may be accepting of someone workingschool hours or doing a job share. We would also consider working half days ona more frequent basis, say 5 half days a week.
Main duties of the job
The normalday would consist of the following:
12patients Appointments (AM) of 15 minutes each (telephone call and face to face)
12patients Appointments (PM) of 15 minutes each (telephone call and face to face)
Ashare of the home visits for the day (If these are needed but usually done bythe PCN)
Ashare of the administration for the day (depending on the home visits or otherwork)
Administrationtime is given during your working week
Asthis is a permanent contract then you would be entitled to access the NHSpension scheme (unless you opted out) and would receive 27 days annual leaveplus all of the usual Bank Holidays (1st January to 31stDecember). You would also receive up to one week paid study leave andre-imbursement of your usual medical fees
Thesurgery uses the SystmOne clinical system and is part of the North Halifax PCN(Primary Care Network).
