What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for leading the commissioning and handover of projects within the PMO
  • Represent the clients Project Manager in overseeing of Principal Contractors delivered commissioning
  • Directly planning the strategy and then overseeing delivery of the subcontract package commissioning of a circa £12M construction project on Scotland's largest WwTW as part of the Principal Contractors project team
  • Champion best practice in commissioning and handover phase of the project delivery lifecycle, developing and strengthening processes.
  • Support the Client, Project Manager and delivery partner through the capital delivery lifecycle ensuring the handover is represented and considered from the earliest stages of the project

What are we looking for?

This role will be suitable for an individual with at least 3 years experience in the water/wastewater industry, in a Commissioning Engineer or Project Engineer role.

  • Experience gained working within a project delivery environment
  • Familiar with CDM Regulations 201
  • Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in engineering or related discipline
  • Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills
  • Full clean driving licence is essential for this position
