An opportunity has arisen for a full time, highly motivated band 3 Team Administrator, to provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service for our Military Veterans Team.

The role of administrator in the Military Veterans team is different in so much as you will be a member of a small, but dedicated team, who work with a highly complex client group, including people experiencing psychological related problems as a result of their military service


The post holder will provide a comprehensive and confidential secretarial service and administration support to the Military Veterans team, whilst also working alongside a large administration team within the Care Group.

Within this post there may be a need to travel to other sites.


As the Team Administrator you should have strong organisational and communication skills and be able to work closely and collaboratively with clinicians and managers and strive for high quality standards both personally and for the service.

You will be responsible for dealing with queries, maintaining accurate records and working with senior managers.

  • To provide a full range of secretarial duties across to the
Veterans in Mind team, including utilising Paris, Microsoft Office
software packages, digital dictation, copy typing, filing and photo
- copying maintaining confidentiality at all times

  • Organise and maintain electronic diaries and arrange meetings
and appointments as necessary, ensuring preparation and
circulation of papers and reports as required.

  • To create and update electronic patient records within Paris from
referral to discharge including the maintenance of waiting lists.

  • Create appointment confirmation and standard letters within Paris
and ensure these are forwarded in timely manner to facilitate
attendance by service users.

  • Create mailshots in conjunction with the Service Manager.
  • To be responsible for production and circulation of minutes and
action plans for all associated multi-disciplinary team meetings as
required.

  • Responsible for ensuring effective filing arrangements,
photocopying and other ad-hoc administrative requirements as
requested.

  • To utilise initiative to suggest and implement new ways of
working to improve current systems.
