    Description
    As a Finance Manager, you'll give us the visibility we need to drive Amazon forward. Finance teams are a constant adviser to the business.

    This role gives you the opportunity to see how we make business decisions as you gather all the insights that we need to shape our future.

    • Interact with Finance stakeholders at multiple levels to understand business drivers of weekly and monthly performance
    • Develop and report accurate, actionable, and timely financial and business metrics for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews
    • Monitor and enhance existing processes and controls
    • Lead and influence different stakeholders
    • Develop ad hoc business analysis and present recommendations to business leaders
    • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
    • Drive scalable automation projects with scope of influence
    We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

    London, GBR

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process reengineering, quality assurance)
    • Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
    • Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
    • Experience in accounts receivable or account payable
    • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
    • Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking
    • Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
    • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • MBA, or CPA
    • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
    • Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
    • Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
    • Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
    • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
