- Ensure the effective, efficient, and safe operation of electrical, mechanical, and public health systems and services within buildings.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as directed by the site supervisor and/or Service Delivery Manager, including all routine maintenance and reactive tasks associated with building services.
- Maintain engineering standards to maximize the operational effectiveness and reliability of plant and associated systems.
- Adhere to company QA and site procedures in all aspects.
- Follow Company & Site Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Keep accurate site records/documentation for all works to meet KPI requirements and ensure all logbooks are up to date.
- Inspect service conditions and address any daily issues proactively.
- Comply with Company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Hands-on maintenance of primary electrical equipment in plant rooms and common areas of a Super Prime residential/mixed-use development.
- Detecting and repairing faults in various electrical equipment.
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical plant faults responsibly while meeting statutory requirements.
- Efficiently servicing, diagnosing faults, and repairing electrical systems according to standards.
- Provide support for electrical systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Maintain a professional image of the company and build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers.
- Provide detailed information to Head Office.
- Ensure work areas are clean, tidy, and work is carried out safely following company and site policies.
- Monitor practices for compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Report any health and safety issues to management.
- Conduct site-specific risk assessments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in prime residential, high-end hotel, or commercial environments.
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualifications 17th or 18th Edition.
- Other relevant building services qualifications.
- Strong IT Skills, proficiency with PDA/mobile devices, and report writing.
- Excellent customer service and client-facing skills.
- Adhere to company-wide policies and procedures.
- Participate in training, meetings, and toolbox talks.
- Complete duties consistent with knowledge and skills.
