- To professionally and confidentially support patients and clinicians to ensure a high standard and efficient service.
- Keep the reception area clean and tidy, making sure the area is hazard free i.e. chairs are placed against the wall
- Supporting patients and processing appointment requests via
- Support patients to use the BP pod if required
- Manage patient expectations and deliver an appropriate service
- Assist and support other staff, both clinical and non-clinical in the day to day running of the hub and reception areas
- Assisting in keeping clinical rooms well stocked and organised at regular intervals
- Dealing with medication queries, processing prescription requests, processing cancellation rejections from pharmacies and handing out medication
- Completing regular fire checks and ensuring signing in sheets are updated regularly
- Supporting all branches and phone cover where required
- Sorting Personally Administered prescriptions
- Ensuring the waiting room is always tidy, and checking posters/leaflets are neat and up to date
MAIN DUTIES (HUB)
- Responsible for providing the 'Best' Customer Service to patients and clinicians and to ensure the effective running of the service:
- Management of the patients medical record and support the medical staff in undertaking necessary actions
- Scanning of relevant documents onto the patient records and assigning to relevant team members in accordance with guidance
- Inputting data to the patients record in accordance with guidance
- Dealing with all enquiries flowed to the Hub and Secretary team in professional and appropriate manner.
- Filing, archiving and appropriate storage of patients records and other confidential information
- All other tasks associated with Health Care administration
- To ensure any CQC requirements and/or documentation for which the post holder is responsible for is completed timely and accurately. To also ensure any procedures and processes applicable to the role are followed timely and accurately.
- To ensure you devote the whole of your time, attention and abilities to your role, our business and its goals
- To assist the Team Leader and Operations Manager with all clerical and administrative duties as required.
- To receive and dispatch mail and carry out any actions as requested by doctors.
- Such other duties as may reasonably be delegated.
