Outcomes you'll be responsible for:
Planning and executing every event we host, sponsor and attend.
Working with the comms team to ensure our key messages land at these events.
Working with the partnerships team to ensure we use events as a key channel to engage and ultimately close deals with partners.
Tasks you might do:
Manage the full events calendar end to end.
Keep abreast of upcoming events in the CDR and climate space, and help the team identify which events to attend, sponsor, speak at and host.
Negotiate sponsorship deals and speaking slots at external events.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to plan, organize, and execute events effectively. This includes defining event objectives, setting agendas, and coordinating logistics.
Assist in the development of event-specific content, such as promotional materials, presentations, and other collateral, to ensure consistent messaging and branding throughout the event.
Evaluate the success of each event, gather feedback and compile post-event reports for internal use.
Attention to detail and excellent time management.
Previous experience running and coordinating events.
A penchant for project management (we use Slack, Google Drive, Asana, and Notion).
An enthusiasm for climate action and environmental topics is essential.
An enthusiasm for strategy and willingness to voice your opinion.
