National Desktop and Field Engineer Technology CSC - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ The starting salary is £43,227, which includes allowances totalling £2,841.

The salary is broken down as £40,386 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £45,615.Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Behind Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) is a remarkable tech team, helping to keep the UK safe. As a National Desktop & Field Engineer, youll join this unique unit in an exceptionally challenging role. Its a fast-paced, diverse environment where your tech skills will be crucial. Join us in this fulfilling role and youll be supporting CTP across the UK and overseas. Our portfolio is mainly off the shelf but rest assured youll get the training to handle bespoke tech.

Youll also get the chance to work with the Desktop Manager, Field Support Team Leader and the wider technical/project teams.

Were also looking for the ability to uphold excellent working practices, improve Field Support processes and shape leaner, more efficient systems.

This role will see you dealing with ICT incidents and Changes and Service Requests, often via remote assistance. Strong technical expertise is therefore essential, including knowledge of toolsets such as SCCM and Service Now, and ideally ITIL. A natural problem solver, youll support colleagues and be adept at resolving ICT incidents, Changes and Service Requests.

This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis.
