- Set up and maintain the Arts & Crafts area to be child-friendly and well-equipped
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment following established policies and procedures
- Plan and execute various creative activities suitable for different age groups
- Provide safety instructions and oversee equipment usage
- Collaborate with colleagues during sessions
- Take charge of the children's well-being and safety throughout the day
- Encourage active participation and display prototypes
- Lead the Discovery Squad skills builder activities
- Collaborate with other Instructors if needed
- Ensure equipment safety and cleanliness
- Keep the site tidy and organized
- Prior experience in Arts and Crafts
- Minimum age of 18 by contract start date
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Positive, organized, and communicative with initiative
- Valid enhanced DBS check
- Participation in Virtual Assessment Event for new hires
- Completion of Annual Online Training
- Attendance at Induction Training Day before the camp starts
- Aid in camp pack up at the end of the season
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Organize appropriate activities within your capabilities
- Encourage children to try new activities as per schedule
- Supervise children's behavior and ensure their safety
- Follow camp systems diligently including Health and Safety procedures
- Support the team with additional tasks when needed
- Be a positive role model promoting health and hygiene
- Report any child protection concerns
- Accommodate children with special needs or medical conditions
- Possibly lead Skills Builder sessions depending on availability
- Assist during swimming sessions if required

Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:30
Salary: £412.00 – £559.17 weekly salary based on age, experience, and qualifications. (February Half Term Contracts at 2023 wage level. 2024 wage level effective starting April 1.)
Reporting to: Camp Senior Team, Area Manager, and Central Office. Barracudas prioritize the safety and well-being of children and youth, expecting all staff to share this commitment.
