    Description

    Base £80k - £85k with OTE

    Based in Cambridge this is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Test Manager to work for a Consumer Electronics company that develop IP Connectivity at the forefront of technology.

    Business Test Manager will be reporting to the C team and Heading up a small to medium sized team focused on software product testing. The team it is a small flexible dynamic team who are passionate about technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the initial concept, through design, developing the Team, exploring new Business opportunities and Leading implementation Projects for Automation Testing

    The successful candidate will have a relevant Degree (in Software/Software Test/) and/or an MBA with a proven background in Managing, Business Management, Leading and also Software Testing and Implementing automation Testing with a strong background in Engineering. Proven Management, Leading and Strategy is key to the role, along with a background in

    • Business Management, Test Strategy and working with CTO's/VP's and similar
    • Excellent ability to communicate information about status of tests
    • Some experience of scripting languages, Python and Bash are of particular interest
    • An understanding of Linux and command line-based interfaces.

Please note the that successful candidate will have worked in either an Engineering or Electronics environment and this role wouldnt be suited to candidates that havent worked in these industries in a Software Testing capacity.

    This role is able to offer sponsorship to candidates based in the UK and Europe, but will require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Please note that candidates must have experience with in an Engineering, Electronics or Embedded industry, areas such as finance, web development and insurance are not relevant to this organisation.
