- Drive framework and qualification achievement within a team of Assessors and Tutors across an agreed geographical or occupational area
- Ensure qualifications are delivered in accordance with KPI's, Awarding Body guidelines and Success rates as determined by The Organisation, ESFA, Funding partners and Ofsted
- Review Assessor and Tutor performance through quality one to one reviews and field monitoring visits
- Ensure Verification and sampling of qualifications is carried out as required under The Organisation guidelines
- Assist in the training and development of Assessors to ensure knowledge and understanding is up to date
- Ensure all Learners are registered and certificated in a timely manner and onto the correct qualifications
- Assist in the quality processes, adhering to systems and standards. Support continuous improvement, ensuring the self-assessment process is rigorous
- Attend Standardisation meetings, lead Team Meetings and meet with External Verifiers as and when required
- Drive Learner achievement through use of Management Information. Ensuring that documentation is completed correctly and submitted for processing within the agreed timescales
- Support and coach Assessors to ensure compliance with the Learner Pathway
- Source, contribute to and develop new Business opportunities
- Complete all staff yearly appraisals
- Contribute to the completion of the organisations SAR and QUIP
- Support Assessors target of 4 achievers per month
- Ensure Learners achieve their programme in a timely manner (within their planned end date)
- Ensure Success Rates are achieved to the levels as agreed with the Line Manager
- Support unqualified Assessors to achieve their A1 unit within 6 months
