Main
Responsibilities:
- You will be a key member of the Electrical team with responsibility as the qualified electrical supervisor (QS) for our NICEIC membership and supervising the quality and compliance of all electrical work to ensure it meets the necessary requirements.
- You will ensure that there are safe systems of work in place by monitoring all the electrical work undertaken is carried out by competent persons.
- You will carry out Risk Assessments of all engineers to ensure that their credentials meet our requirements.
- You will undertake the role of 'Qualifying Supervisor' and liaise directly with the NICEIC, with responsibility for the monitoring of certification and compliance with all necessary regulations ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
- You will be directly involved with verifying all electricians' inspection and testing results whether electronically or hard copy in a timely manner to prevent invoicing delays ensuring that due care and attention is maintained when verifying these results to prevent any electrical issues.
- Be available for any audit conducted by the NICEIC or annual assessments to ensure our membership remains.
- You must be able to demonstrate a level of competency and understanding of the NICEIC standards required for an electrical qualified supervisor, with a knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and current BS7671 Building Regulations being beneficial.
- Excellent communicator/experience of working with staff and contractors, with the ability to prioritise you work activities.
- Effective problem solving and organisational skills.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent
- IT Skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and NICEIC Portal.
- Access to own vehicle due to site locations.

Up to £40,000
