This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 36300per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

As a Primary Care Nurse you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led serviceand prevent hospital admissions. You will undertake medication rounds, dispense controlledmedication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake receptionscreening. You will use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient groupwhilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications required

Registered nurse Adult

Current professional qualification (NMC)

Evidence of Continued Professional Development

Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working

Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
