    CNC Programmer/Supervisor


    Salary:
    £35,000


    Location:
    Wellingborough

    Proactive are currently working with a client who are a market leader in their field based in Wellingborough.
    The client are currently in need of a CNC Programmer/Supervisor.

    The need is due to rapid company growth, the successful candidate will be joining a thriving business and be helping maintain the site's function through this exciting influx of work.


    Overview:
    Programming online, setting and operating CNC and manual machines.
    Meet production deadlines ensuring that the appropriate checks have been carried out.
    Work to machining tolerances ensuring that the completed component is checked against the required specifications.
    Utilising Prototract, SLX, Siemens, Shopmill or other similar programs e.g fanuc.
    Turning and milling on machines.
    Interpret / understand engineering drawings.
    Assist with production planning.
    Ordering materials and tooling for machines.
    Overcome day to day machining issues.
    Ensuring Health and Safety /legislative controls are adhered to.
    Supervision, training, and development of operators.
    Working with factory managers.
    Hours of work per week.

    Experience/Qualifications:
    Time served CNC and manual machining knowledge
    Must be able to program online.
    Consistent employment history.
    Excellent attention to details.
    Has a good understanding of best tools for the job and feeds + speed for different tools.
    Highly collaborative and team orientated.
    Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.

    Being tidy and organised to ensure safe, efficient workspace and to adhere to all company Health and Safety and PPE rules.

    Excellent communication skills.
