    Are you detail-oriented, love working with data and want to work in a great team that's making a difference to peopleliving with myeloma? We're looking for an enthusiastic Data Officer who has experience working with relationaldatabases with a strong understanding of data protection and electronic marketing regulation.

    The right candidate will have experience working with databases in a fundraising or marketing context, be comfortablewrangling and cleaning data and possess the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.

    As a Data Officer at Myeloma UK, you will be supporting the charity as we implement a brand-new data strategy.

    Youwill ensure our data is handled with the highest care, complying with best practice in data protection, and beinvolved in projects covering data management, data cleaning, reporting, and analysis.

    Collaborate across the charity assessing our processing and help to manage communication preferences, data assets,including maintaining the Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) log.


    • Support us in assessing new and existing data processing to ensure we follow privacy by design principles.
    • Enhance data flows from multiple sources to our CRM, providing training and support to colleagues whereneeded.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of a brand-new data strategy, improving our charity's data maturitythrough staff training and promoting best practice.

    You'll work closely with our Web Manager and Head of Digital to optimise and improve our SEO performance, increaseour reach and influence, and help other teams achieve their goals.

    Glasgow office based with flexible working options. (Since being founded over forty years ago, MND Scotland has provided practical, financial and emotional support toanyone affected by MND whilst also funding essential research into finding effective treatments and a cure.

    The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser role will support the Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead in developing andcultivating a portfolio of trust fundraising and will be central to the successful delivery of our ambitiousfundraising strategy.

    You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and producing high quality bids aswell as supporting with required reporting.

    Alongside this, you will play an active role in developing our supporter journeys and maintaining and utilisingfinancial and supporter data to improve and develop our fundraising offer.

    As an ambassador for MND Scotland, and a first point of contact for many supporters, you will be a confidentcommunicator with a passion for working with people throughout the community.

    You will be highly organised, andable to run projects on time and on budget.

    We are seeking to recruit a motivated, skilled and highly organised coordinator to lead our Telefriending Service,and to and contribute to the support that LGBT Health offers to LGBT+ older people (50 years+) throughoutScotland.

    The main purpose of the role is to lead on the delivery of the Telefriending Service which offers regular phone-basedsupport to LGBT elders throughout Scotland.

    coordinate weekly staff and volunteer rotas
    collect and collate reporting data
    ensure that the Telefriending project is delivered to a high standard

    Food Train is a Scottish Charity established in 1995, supporting older people to eat well, age well and live well,through the provision of volunteer led community support services focused on food access.

    Since 2017, Food Trainhas led a national malnutrition pathfinder project called Eat Well Age Well Funded initially by NationalLottery, and now via Scottish government, the project is in the final phase, focusing activities on malnutritionscreening, training and implementation of a new national framework for malnutrition.

    Food Train holds thelargest volume of data collection demonstrating risk and prevalence of malnutrition in older people in thecommunity, in Scotland.

    This role will focus on maintaining and growing awareness of the prevalence in, and risk of, food insecurity,malnutrition and loneliness among older people across Scotland.

    The policy officer will drive momentum and addcontext to relevant national legislation, policies and frameworks, bringing the voices of Food Train members tothe fore, supplemented by evidence gathered over many years by the charity.

    The policy officer will alsocommunicate all available, high quality and relevant impacts and evidence in the most effective way to ensurethe needs of older people and their right to food is represented.

    The role has its focus in preventative work tosupport older people access good nutrition and hydration and will involve research and evaluation and policyinto practice.

    The Policy Officer will work collectively with Food Train's Dietitian to promote and evidence theimpact of malnutrition in older people and the need for action to be taken at all levels, from individual tofamily, friends and carers right up to elected members and Government ministers.

    This role requires acollaborative, flexible and motivated person, who wants to action change to improve the lives of older peopleacross Scotland.
