    About Us:

    Morar Living (part of the Simply UK Group) have a brand new purpose built care home, located in Dunfermline. We are looking for an experienced Registered Care Home Managerto come and join our team.

    Our Registered Care Home Manager at this home will be autonomous in responsibility for the overall management of their Community, all measured through key performance indicators such as sales leadership, financial management, customer and team engagement, recruitment and through regulatory CQC compliance.

    Responsibilities & Qualifications:

    As the head of the Home, strong leadership and coaching skills are paramount. Communication skills are vital to be able to demonstrate empathy, engage team members, and work with families and residents alike.

    Essential for the role:

    • Proven management experience at a similar level
    • A clinical background, a registered nurse with active NMC Pin
    • Established leadership skills to manage large teams
    • Effective multi-tasking and prioritization
    • Strong commercial awareness care industry preferred but not required
    • Youll be up to date with current evidence based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations and will work using your initiative making effective decisions to improve care quality
    • A Registered Manager with relevant experience in a senior management capacity is desirable

The ethos is to create a genuine homely environment where the residents are very well supported, enjoy high levels of engagement from staff and where their experiences are warm and rewarding.

    The Registered Care Home Manager will be responsible for all aspects of care delivered in the Home, for its continued CQC compliance, occupancy, budget and finance, and staffing. A positive, proactive and can-do attitude will be a necessary characteristic of the Manager.
