The Mullard Space Science Laboratory is located on its own campus in the beautiful Surrey Hills, surrounded by woodland. MSSL is the UK's largest university space research group.

UCL was one of the first universities in the world to become involved in making scientific observations in space.Since MSSL was established in 1966, we have participated in over 40 satellite missions with the European Space Agency, NASA (US), Japan, Russia, China and India, and flown over 230 rocket experiments.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Management Officer to join the project management group at the Department of Space and Climate Physics (Mullard Space Science Laboratory) to support the Laboratory's space science instrumentation programme.
Vigil is an ESA Space Safety Programme space weather mission to observe the Sun from the Sun-Earth Lagrange point L5.
Solar-C is a proposed solar mission led by JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) as a successor to the very successful Solar-B mission (also known as Hinode).
This post is funded for 2 years in the first instance with a view to extend dependent on external funding.
