Procurement Strategy:
Develop and implement global procurement strategies and plans
2 Supplier Identification and Evaluation:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements
3 Negotiation and Contract Management:
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and secure long-term partnerships. Draft (with our in-house legal counsel) and manage supplier agreements and protect the organisation's interests.4.
Daily Oversight of Supplier Performance:
Ensure supplier deliveries reflect forecasts and schedules, and address (potential) issues as required
5 Supplier Quality Management:
Pro-actively work with suppliers to achieve and maintain quality standards, continuously review incoming product quality, and address quality issues with suppliers
6 Cost Management:
Analyse market trends, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality or service levels
7 Supply Chain Optimisation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams both within the business and within the supply chain, to optimise and improve operational efficiency
8 Risk Mitigation:
Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to minimise disruptions. Proactively address risks and issues related to quality, lead times, and supplier capacity.9.
Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies
10 Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor procurement performance and supplier metrics. Prepare regular updates for senior management to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities.11.
Product Design & Development Support:
Work collaboratively with the product design and development teams to manage the product lifecycle and to ensure continuous innovation and improvement of the product portfolio.12.
