    ~ As Senior Support Worker, you will support the Service Manager in the management of a team delivering quality housingsupport and management service and to support people with multi-complex needs/homeless in crisis and/orpreviously looked after or accommodated people, to build their skills and confidence to sustain their owntenancy.

    This Senior Support Worker role working at our Oban services involves working on a rota covering various shifts withsome weekend work included.


    The Senior Support Worker will:
    work as part of a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.

    assist theService Manager to oversee and assess the support, review, monitoring and evaluation through the case managementsystem to achieve a positive person-centred outcome for each supported person in line with Blue Triangle,statutory and legislative requirements.

    manage staff and others where appropriate (e.g. students,trainees etc.) manage anddeliver staff related systems and procedures such as annual leave, absence management, staff meetings, staffingcover and rotas.
    assist the Service Manager in all aspects of quality assurance monitoring both internaland external, and implementing appropriate action plans

    assist the Service Manager in maximising theservice income, monitoring spend and completing all financial procedures accurately and timeously, liaising withsenior management and finance team and relevant external agencies.

A qualification in a pertinent social care subject (at least SVQ Level 9).
    Possession of, a relevanttraining qualification or equivalent at SCQF level 7 (SVQ 3).
    Previous experience in the care or charitysector (preferably 2 years or more).

    The objective of the project is to support the recovery pathway for individuals who are either exiting residentialrehabilitation or community recovery programmes, who are in need of additional support within a housing supportenvironment.

    Supported people will enter the service post detox with a view to re-connecting with family, friends and their localcommunities.

    The Support Worker will:
