    Client Overview:
    Top Nationwide Tier 1 Contractor

    Based in the Thames Business Unit office with overall responsibility for the management and success of a number of projects, including customer relations, health and safety, quality, environmental, programme and the cost/value of operations under his/her control.

    Assist with the establishment and delivery of the objectives and targets contained within the Annual Business Unit Business Plan;
    Maintaining effective and long-term relationships with internal and external customers and their representatives/advisors;
    Implementing and maintaining client Strategy and Policies for Sustainability, Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training and Development etc;
    Ensuring the project teams comply with the Companies Business Management System;
    Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc in order to maximise commercial profitability; Managing, monitoring, supporting, mentoring and counselling members of the project teams in their personal development;
    Directly supervises anumber of project teams comprising project and site managers, engineers, quantity surveyors and foremen etc;
    To support and be familiar with own role and responsibility in respect of Business Continuity Planning. Experience in a similar Contract Management role for a main contractor (desirable);
    Experience as a Project Manager or similar for a main contractor (essential Degree (or equivalent) in appropriate construction related subject (desirable);
    CITB Level 3 Safety Course (essential);
    Appropriate CSCS Card (essential). High level of leadership and management skills;
    High level of Commercial and Financial ability;
    Experience as a Project Manager or similar.
