    Role Overview Company: Vistry Region: Vistry South East Department: Build Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time Job Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our team in the South East at our site in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. As the Senior Site Manager, your main responsibilities include effectively motivating, supporting, and managing the site-based team to ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met. You will also be in charge of meeting program and quality requirements and emphasizing the importance of customer relationships to the team. **What's in it for you:** - Competitive basic salary and annual bonus - Company car, car allowance or travel allowance - Agile working options - Up to 33 days of annual leave plus bank holidays - Private Healthcare - Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave - Competitive pension scheme - Life assurance - Employee rewards portal with various benefits **What we expect from you:** - Uphold company values - Integrity, Caring, Quality - Hold a CSCS card at Site Manager level - Possess valid SMSTS and First Aid at Work certificates - Full UK Driving License - BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar qualification - 5 years of experience as a Site Manager - Ability to lead meetings and motivate staff effectively - Stay up to date with health and safety regulations and building legislation - Work collaboratively to achieve goals - Capable of implementing change and using initiative - Decision-maker with problem-solving skills - Maintain excellent customer service while meeting company targets - Willing to attend sites outside of regular hours for emergencies - Ability to travel to different sites regularly **Desirable:** - Scaffold Appreciation certificate - LOLER certificate - Trade background **More about the Senior Site Manager role:** - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies - Keep statutory records as necessary - Induct staff, subcontractors, and site visitors - Maintain traffic management and site strategy - Follow accident and incident reporting procedures - Conduct site assessments and ensure safety standards are met - Attend health and safety training - Secure site at the end of each day - Inspect plant machinery regularly - Include health and safety in site team meetings - Keep health and safety compendium up to date - Review and approve risk assessments and method statements **About Us:** We are Vistry Group, the UK's leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes.
