    A lack of affordable homes is a key concern for Hackney's residents, and addressing this is at the heart of the Council's work. That's why Hackney is building. The Council's Regeneration team is building thousands of Council homes for social rent, shared ownership and outright sale at more than 30 sites across Hackney. It is leading on the delivery of this in-house programme at all stages – starting with setting the briefs for sites, selecting architects and the wider design teams, managing the design process and procuring contractors or developer partners.

    The Council is looking for an experienced Programme Support Officer to join their forward-thinking and busy development team. If successful you will work across the directorate providing support to programme areas including Housing Regeneration & Delivery and Regeneration & Economic Development. The post holder will need to quickly establish strong working relationships with each team to support the effective management, development and delivery of regeneration in the borough.

    As Programme Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, and will need to be confident and efficient at multitasking and a clear communicator. You will work closely with project teams to organise quarterly monitoring, prepare client care meetings, as well as coordinate project briefings and information sharing to ensure the smooth running of the Division.

    Ideally you will have strong ICT skills, a track record of administrative support skills and experience of maintaining project management software, creating reports and supporting delivery teams with workflow processes.
