WHAT TO EXPECT

Vehicle Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) is responsible for ensuring the many aspects of refinement required to achieve the customer expectations for all Jaguar and Land Rover programmes.

The attribute function is responsible for attribute strategy, methods and targets developed for the full vehicle, systems and components.

Hardware is developed physically and virtually, with detailed investigations undertaken to ensure vehicles achieve all defined targets and therefore customer expectations.


As a Product Owner, working in the well-established NVH Delivery team, you'll be responsible for a range of future Jaguar Land Rover products.

You'll project manage NVH Technical Chapters to deliver all aspects of NVH (Installed PT, Road NVH, Airborne Noise, Body Integration, Chassis Integration, Electrical Integration) from KO through to the Launch of the programme.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • You'll lead the NVH development on Jaguar Land Rover programmes from Concept to Production, using standard JLR planning and reporting tools
  • Follow Agile process and demonstrate Agile working principles internally and externally to NVH dept.
  • You'll be responsible for collaboratively working with VNVH Technical Chapters to translate these vehicle level targets into appropriate objective NVH targets at system and component level
  • Plan and support test and development activities as required or specified in the Design Verification Plan (DVP) in time and to budget
  • You will be responsible for working with the launch team to ensure that the target level of NVH performance is robustly delivered through industrialisation

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential

  • Significant understanding of all aspects of NVH hardware delivery/development
  • Strong Business Behaviours and Programme Management Capability
  • Good communication and presentation skills to influence the Programme team and Component Owners.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team to focus on delivery to meet programme gateway requirements, including timing.
  • Good understanding of all types of propulsion systems.
  • Strong structured issue resolution capability
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrate specific NVH issue resolution projects you have completed
Desirable

  • Good understanding of LMS TestLab.
  • Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Operating Standards in Manufacturing
