    Senior Research Executive - Mixed Methods Verian London Millbank Hybrid working: 2 days a week in the office 3 days working from home Verian works with clients around the world, providing evidence, insights and advisory services to inspire the next generation of public policy and programmes.

    With permanent fully staffed offices in 17 countries, our 850 specialist consultants and researchers advise government departments, regulators, charities, and other public sector bodies to make the right decisions and improve people's lives.

    We are looking for a Senior Research Executive, who will be responsible for day-to-day project and client management for social research mixed methods studies in the UK.

    This will involve project planning and research design, quality delivery and profitability management, as well as line-management duties for one or more junior researchers, supporting their work and development.

    The successful candidate will play a major supporting role on recent new survey wins in the team and will be an exciting opportunity to demonstrate and develop skills in a wide range of areas including questionnaire design, complex fieldwork and survey management, analysis and reporting and client management.

    Candidates should be confident in a client facing role, as the role will require attending and contributing to client meetings, debriefs and presentations.

    ResponsibilitiesConfidently engage with clients and supports client relationships on projectsTake part in the interpretation of survey results, the delivery of key findings in presentations, and providing recommendations based on research resultsProvide input to client reporting and presentationsContribute to the commercial management and cost control of projectsSupport business development activityLine management of more junior researchers RequirementsSignificant experience of working on large scale quantitative surveys and/or evaluationsExperience of mixed mode working (including qualitative techniques)

    Experience in classical quantitative research methods:

    telephone, online, face-to-faceExperience in classical qualitative methods: depth interviews, focus groups and workshopsPreferably this will include social research experience, working with government and not-for-profit clientsData analysis including proficiency in using SPSS (or SAS, Stata, or similar)Strong writing skills and PowerPoint design capabilitiesStrong delivery/verbal presentation to clientsStrong experience of managing of multiple tasks and priorities and delivering to timeGood client handling skillsEnergy, enthusiasm, motivation, team playerWhat we offer Joining Verian means becoming part of a dynamic and collaborative community that thrives on intellectual curiosity and a shared commitment to making a difference.
