The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

Preparation of Month end management accounts and reporting for Stourport siteDetailed analysis of spend/budget variances, identify variances and drive actions to eliminate
Prepare detailed analysis for annual budget, including forecasts and assist with the preparation of the annual budget
Support the Finance Manager in producing robust forecasts of financial performance, and identifying (rapidly and early) those areas where the financial outlook for the business requires corrective management action
Pro-active management and control of working capital; own and drive projects to reduce stock holding, creditors and debtors
Weekly information gathering and sharing data in a format that can be understood by all
Ensure the business maintains robust internal controls which will ensure compliance with financial regulations and Morgan group policies
Ensure that investments (including Capex) are properly justified and prove to be effective to meet the business objectives; Manage the accounting entries for inventory, including analysis to support understanding of standard costs, variances arising, inventory valuation, provision for obsolescence, intercompany transactions and goods in transit
provide informed reports and analyses for management, in line with business needs and objectives
Minimum 2-3 years of experience experience in a financial role is essential
Studying toward CIMA qualification
