Job Spec

Develop existing forecast and supply information to improve production efficiencies and meet customer orders in a timely manner.
Directly work alongside and manage one member of staff to enter production jobs/ create labels.
Review and update planned/ forecast production schedules and material requirements.
Develop and maintain forecast, master schedule and procurement plan based on history, seasonality, and sales opportunities.
Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
Promote and develop positive communication with Production facility, Customer Service and Sales teams.
Support new product development through cooperative scheduling of model introductions.
Proactively review material supply and demand to determine push/pull actions.
Identify and implement system and process improvements within production planning and purchasing. Propose changes when needed.
Be a key person for the introduction a modern ERP system ( SAP)
Interaction with the MATICS ( OEE ) line packaging programme to adjust baseline output data and reporting
Other general administrative tasks including providing holiday cover and support the SOP and logistics functions
