Join Aston Martin's Team - Craft luxury performance cars in a state-of-the-art facility.
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide electrical support to the assembly lines and vehicle confirmation team.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Seek and repair electrical faults on the vehicle.
- Use diagnostic equipment for re-testing and verification process.
- Interpret diagnostic equipment output to minimize rework time/costs.
- Record & Report faults back to relevant areas.
- Communicate effectively with Engineers/suppliers.
- Work on download stations adhering to process instruction.
- Check vehicle specifications using relevant documentation.
- Store controlled substances/components safely.
- Support quality, productivity, and process improvements.
- Adhere to company standards.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Completion of automotive apprenticeship (city & guilds level 3 + or equivalent) essential.
- Knowledge of auto electrics, harness manufacture, and electronic module experience necessary.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical architecture & VCATS advantageous.
- Able to work to Aston Martin build standards.
- Demonstrate manual dexterity & mechanical/quality aptitude.
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
- Accountable and demonstrates initiative.
- Reliable and efficient.
- Able to read, interpret engineering circuit drawings/process sheets.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.

Hours of work:
Double Days
- Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am to 12 midday.
- Monday to Thursday 2pm - 1am.
All production employees are required to align with fixed holidays throughout the year.
