    Description
    Process and maintain thepurchase ledger ensuring accurate and timely recording of invoicespayments and expenses
    Verify andreconcile supplier statements to ensure all invoices are accountedfor
    Prepare and process paymentruns including checks BACS transfers and directdebits
    Investigate and resolveany discrepancies or issues with invoices orpayments
    Assist with monthendclosing activities related to the purchaseledger
    Maintain accurate anduptodate records of all financialtransactions
    Provide support tothe finance team asneeded

    Requirements

    Previous experience working in a similar role as aPurchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts PayableClerk
    Proficient in usingaccounting software
    Strong dataentry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention todetail
    Knowledge of basicaccounting principles andpractices
    Ability to analysefinancial data and identify discrepancies ortrends
    Excellent organizationalskills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meetdeadlines
