    Description

    Job Overview

    Responsible for the Operation & Maintenance of the Energy Centre & associated contracted assets at the Royal Free Hospital. Ensure compliance with the MTFM BMS as it applies to this position. Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to. Schedule effective PPM regime for all boilers/CHP/Chiller's/Cooling Towers and Water Hygiene under direct control. Carry out statutory tasks as required by the contract.

    Main Duties

    1. Carry out hands-on work as required as dictated by the PPM and Reactive Database, taking into account sickness and holiday cover, in order to meet our contractual obligations.
    2. Carry out safety inspections as and when required in line with Quality Procedures.
    3. Carry out boiler maintenance.
    4. Liaise with the mobile team and contractors to ensure effective planning of all maintenance is effectively completed.
    5. Be able to carry out Water treatment tasks on cooling towers.
    6. Service pumps and valves.
    7. Attend relevant training courses as required by the contract and client demands.
    8. Arrange and organise the collection of all site-related Environmental waste.
    9. Demonstrate an ability to work and get on with other members of our four shift teams of two engineers in each.
