Program Manager - cambridgeshire, United Kingdom - Newman Stewart
Description
Programme Manager
£DOE + Bonus + Benefits
Cambridgeshire
Our client is a world leading manufacturer of highly technical, highly specialised products utilised in a variety of specialist industries including government, defence and telecommunications. After a prolonged period of success, underpinned by the continuous innovation in their products and solutions, they are now seeking a high-performing Programme Manager to drive the programme to develop their next generation of products.
Reporting to the Engineering Director you will be responsible for working across multi-disciplined engineering teams (electronic, software and mechanical) to commercially drive the portfolio of projects to continuously meet the project milestones. There is also the ability to utilise your previous project/programme management expertise to develop and enhance existing project management processes and capabilities across the business.
To be successful within this role you must have experience in taking ownership and responsibility for projects and/or project portfolios and be able to demonstrate successfully driving these projects within a fast-changing customer driven environment. Previous experience within a STEM environment is essential, ideally within a development through to manufacturing environment. Previous experience with electronic or software projects would be advantageous, but not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a market-leading business, with an enviable global reputation, that invests heavily within their design and development function. The role will offer the successful individual a challenging yet rewarding career. Interested parties should apply accordingly or contact Mike Pritchard-Howarth in the first instance for a confidential conversation. Contact details can be found via the Newman Stewart website.
