Description

My client are looking for an individual who can work in a fast-growing environment alongside a small team of to deliver client work, whilst also whilst supporting the director within the business.

A passion for improvement and efficiency is a must in anever-changing world of tax and technology. A high degree of accuracy will be needed with the ability to adapt and be accountable for all duties. An assessment for accuracy may be required to be completed prior to an interview. A can-do attitude accompaniedwith the understanding of your own limitations. Good maths skills are preferred but may not be essential.

General telephone answering duties and handling initial calls with clients.

On boarding new clients to the Practice, processing data and creating engagement letters.

Arranging appointments and follow ups

Assisting the team on various admin tasks, including ad hoc letters, invoicing, debt recovery etc.

Carrying out routine general office tasks e.g. incoming and outgoing post, maintaining stocks of stationery and supplies, office security procedures.

Ensuring delivery of client documents and tax work.

Some monthly payroll duties

Obtaining information to meet professional compliance needs and accurate transfer of data onto internal systems

Processing of incoming post including scanning, indexing and distributing; dealing with outgoing post. Visits to courier and post offices will be required.

Checking stationery and supplies stock levels, replenishing as required

Various other ad hock assignments as the need arises


Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years + experience working in professional administration departments or in a similar role. Ideally in the accounting or legal field.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Impeccable confidentiality; both with company information and staff information

Strong Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge

Experience with Outlook and managing diaries.

Self-motivated and a desire to improve systems within the business

Team player

Part-time hours per week.

Permanent position

Flexible working hours between the hours of 9:00am & 17:30pm
