As our new Civil Engineering Technician or Senior Civil Engineering Technician, you will be part of a highly dynamic 300-strong multi-disciplinary buildings practice with offices in Chester, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Bristol, Southampton and London.
You will be responsible for contributing to and leading the Civil Engineering modelling for some of the industry's most innovative and sustainable building projects across the UK.

Ramboll is looking for enthusiastic and ambitious Civil Engineering Technicians and Senior Civil Engineering Technicians to help us deliver our projects and support the growth of our multi-disciplinary offering.
Our Buildings Civil Engineering team supports our UK Buildings practice from our offices in Chester, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Bristol, Southampton and London.
Our diverse workload includes commercial, residential, education, healthcare, heritage, industrial, defense and government projects.All our offices are located with easy access to the city centres and their cafes, restaurants and shops.
Most offices have ample cycle storage and shower facilities to aid your commute or freshen up after a lunchtime run around the city.
Working with the leading architects we are recognised for our bold innovative approach, that is underpinned by our Scandinavian culture, design heritage and foundation ownership.
Undertaking 3D modelling of existing and proposed topography in order to represent it as a surface in Autodesk Civils 3D.
Using data created within hydraulic design software such as Microdrainage and Causeway Flow, model the proposed drainage arrangements in Autodesk Civils 3D from which 2D drawings can be cut.
Carry out earthworks modelling tasks to establish volumes and optimal platform levels using Autodesk Civils 3D where applicable.Undertake the 3D modelling of low speed estate roads using Autodesk Civils 3D corridors.
Mentor and provide guidance to our technicians in all aspects of Civil Engineering.

HNC in Civil Engineering or (or equivalent)Proficient in working within a team environment on buildings related civil engineering tasks
Autodesk AutoCAD and Civils 3D proficient with experience of working in a collaborative, federated BIM environment using clash detection software as necessary.
