The Role:
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) you will be helping our client to source and close new business opportunities.

The incoming BDM, will be responsible for:

Proactively prospecting into new logos using a creative, multi-touch approach:


  • Pitching macro-economic research reports and forecasts on an annual subscription model:
-
Targeting Asset Management firms, Private Equity firms and Investment Banks


The incoming BDM will be confident in managing their own sales pipeline, and will be passionate about working in a consultative, solution-based sales environment.

They will also be a team player who is passionate about sharing knowledge and best practicewithin the sales team.


Based in their London office, you'll focus on both the UK and EU markets and will have the opportunity to travel internationally to attend client meetings and industry events.

They offer a diverse and detailed range of subscriptionscovering everything from global market overviews to detailed region specific packages.

Requirements:
For this Business Development Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (required)
  • experience managing sales pipeline from lead gen through to close.
  • A background in SaaS, BI or Data sales is preferred (MEDDIC or Challenger sales methods)
  • Confident in running facetoface meetings and product demos
  • Either career experience or a keen interest in Economics/Finance
