SF Recruitment are working with a luxury automotive that are looking to recruit a number of Material Planners into their business.

There are a number of both fixed term (9 months) and Permanent roles, so please get in touch for more details.

The roles are based on site with possibly one day working from home.

Description

Supporting the Material Planning team, ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of raw material commodities to Automotive Manufacturing to enable full and cost-effective product build to schedule.

Provide parts on time and in correct quantities to support PTS schedules and build requirements.

Role Objectives

Supports the Material Planning Team Supervisor in their overall responsibilities.
Escalates any supplier issues, capacity, scheduling, bottleneck, buyer related to ensure full material continuity.
Oversees creation of supplier material schedules to optimise and balance material managed working capital inventories and material availability.
Oversees preparation of future supplier capacity requirements and availability to meet future build requirements.
Supports material planning team, ensuring adherence to all schedules.
Escalates bottleneck and protection of supply activities.
Work with Purchasing, SQA, Logistics, Material Handling and Suppliers to organise schedule requirements, shipping schedules, inventory levels and build schedules to keep plants operational. Instruct suppliers on option builds, volume requirements ship points etc
