- Preparing the environment cleaning instruments and machinery as appropriate in the decontamination room and dental surgeries.
- Providing fully sterilised equipment that is compliant to practice policies, procedures and the HTM01-05 guidelines. (which we'll give you full training on)
- Selecting and using correct cleaning equipment for a range of routine and specialist tasks.
- Monitoring the general cleanliness of the practice throughout the working day, stocking up consumables as required.
- Applying the principals of hygiene to the role, such as excellent hand hygiene and cross infection procedures.
- Communicating with colleagues, patients and visitors in a professional manner
- You will be responsible ensuring surgeries are supplied with sufficient clean/sterilised instruments.
- You will undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
- You will accurately complete validation and Testing log books as directed and follow the ordering procedure to order new supplies as necessary.
