- Ensure safe workplace, safe systems of work, competent personnel and safe working practices and culture
- Experienced fit out manager with good knowledge on full fit out works from 1st fix right through to snagging.
- Capable of looking after all trades within the blocks i.e. dry liner's, MEP, joinery/carpentry, kitchens, hard/soft flooring, painting/decorating etc.
- Ensure areas/materials are ready ahead of works commencing to ensure these align with our construction program.
- Responsible for all QA, checking completed works and completing sign offs/handovers with the contractors on site.
- Once 2nd fix works are complete, they will also be responsible for all snagging and ensuring areas are ready for client inspections.
- Efficient with technology as we use tablets on site for all QA/snagging etc and they will also be expected to complete site diaries electronically, send out emails etc
- Supervise activity/work package delivery
- Record daily activity logs for all site activity
- Liaise with the various trade professionals to organize new work areas and ensure smooth co-ordination
- Liaise with sub-contractors on materials orders
- Previous Construction Management experience within fit out of residential.
- The ability to communicate effectively is required in order to manage customer relationships, in addition to planning and organisation skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency.
- Effective leadership skills, including experience of working within teams and confidence in the ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets are required.
- Financial awareness is required to deliver targets, with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance.
- An appropriate and valid CSCS card and SMSTS is required.
- Relevant technical qualification are desirable.
