My Client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their business on a part-time basis 18-20 hours a week.

Days and times are flexible.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be solely responsible for all aspects of the finance function, with assistance on some tasks

Responsibilities include the following:

Maintenance of the Sales/Purchase/Nominal Ledger and supplier payments
Monthly bank, credit card and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Credit control

Quarterly VAT returns

Partial Exemption
Monthly management accounts production and variance analysis
Annual Statutory accounts audit pack preparation
Annual Confirmation Statement
Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
Cashflow report preparation and monitoring
Annual Budget preparation
Utility and Insurance contract renewals

Personal Specification:

Experience as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller or Bookkeeper with Management Accounts experience, in a similar role. AAT or an accountancy qualification desirable.
VAT return experience essential
Strong Sage 50 and Excel skills essential
Must be selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative unsupervised with a strong attention to detail
