    Application Engineer

    Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + company benefits, car or car allowance, holidays, and pension.

    Location: Commutable from Milton Keynes, Huntingdon, Biggleswade, Bletchley, Luton, St Neots, Bedford, Northampton, Wellingborough, Towcester, Stevenage, Cambridge, St Albans, Aylesbury

    We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Engineer to join our growing automation business. With our expanding business and cutting-edge product developments, we need someone with a passion for automation to join us at our headquarters. In this role, you'll thrive in a vibrant and fast-paced environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact both internally and for our valued customers.

    As an Application Engineer, you'll be instrumental in providing technical support across a range of automation products (control systems, vision inspection & motion systems, electrical drive systems). Additionally, you'll play an important role in the deployment and enhancement of our innovative robotic solutions. Working closely with a team of professionals, you'll be responsible for delivering technical support, offering application advice, conducting product demonstrations, and occasionally providing on-site assistance. Collaboration is key, as you'll liaise with our system integrators to ensure seamless implementation of our solutions.

    Application Engineer Requirements:

    1. Provide technical support and application advice to customers and colleagues.
    2. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase our solutions.
    3. Expand and support our network of system integrators.
    4. Assist in the rollout and maintenance of new robotic solutions.
    5. Occasionally provide on-site customer support.

    Application Engineer Skills & Experience:

    Qualifications: A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

    Experience: Experience in PLCs, HMIs, servos, and inverters. Programming experience of PLCs, ideally Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley/Rockwell, although we will consider candidates with other PLC system experience. Knowledge of motion control is advantageous.

    Skills: Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and presentational, are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in IT is a must.

    While you'll primarily be based at our headquarters, occasional travel may be necessary. Comprehensive support and training will be provided.
