Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a global company as they look to recruit for a full - time, permanent Senior HR Advisor.

This will be a home based role with occasional travel to company offices (UK based).

The salary for this role is circa £35k plus bonus.


You will be responsible for managing the performance and delivery of the HR shared service team to achieve all agreed SLAs.

You will be expected to resolve queries, and act as a liaison lead to employees & managers.

You will be responsible for the procedures,company best practice, and providing advice and support for Performance Management, Discipline and Grievance internationally.

Senior HR Advisor - About the role

  • Manage the performance and delivery standards of the remote team
  • Provide remote training as required
  • Acquisition and start ups creation of relevant documentation, policies, contracts, systems aligned to business strategy and integration of the same for acquisitions
  • Performance Management, Discipline and Grievance meetings/advice to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • ER case management to support the Group HR Manager
  • Policy and template updates to cover joiner, change request and leaver documentation and template letters
  • Process and documentation reviews and admin to improve career review process, drive performance and engagement
  • HRIS reporting, data quality and upgrades as required
  • Maternity/Paternity/Adoption dealing with queries, liaising re returns, support
  • Data protection compliance within the HR function
  • Projects as required
About you

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of UK employment law, HR and benefits related legislation & best practice. Some international experience would be a benefit but is not essential.
  • Excellent decision making, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organized and results driven individual with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Performance Management, Discipline & Grievance process and practice
  • Experience of managing to SLA's
  • Proven experience of working as s HR Officer or advisor in a fastpaced environment
  • Professional HR Qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with working with HRIS systems and reporting
