    Cover Supervisor at a Secondary School in Winchester

    About the School: Join our dynamic team at a school in Winchester known for its high-achieving pupils and strong emphasis on personal development. We are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support our educational mission on a flexible basis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and manage classroom activities during the short-term absence of the regular teacher
    • Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work
    • Uphold school policies and procedures while fostering a positive learning environment
    • Manage behaviour according to the school's behaviour management policy
    • Support students' learning and development through engaging activities

    Ideal Candidate Qualities:

    • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
    • Quick thinking and adaptability to handle unexpected circumstances
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet
    • Flexibility and willingness to work across different subject areas
    • A positive and proactive approach to supporting student learning

    This is an excellent opportunity for newly graduates looking to gain valuable experience in education while making a positive impact on students' learning and development within a supportive and high-achieving school environment. Experience in a school setting is desirable, but not necessary as you will be given everything you need. If you the possess the ideal qualities, we would love to hear from you.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
