    HYBRID CAPITAL OVERVIEW

    Hybrid Capital offers flexible alternatives for businesses looking beyond traditional private equity or debt options. The team primarily utilizes the West Street Strategic Solutions Fund I, a significant $14 billion fund raised in 2020. Analysts and Associates collaborate closely in small deal teams, engaging in a variety of high-profile transactions across the capital structure, from secured debt to minority common equity. This role requires a keen analytical mindset, focusing on valuation, financial modeling, and legal analysis, providing exposure to diverse industries, geographies, and investment products.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Conducting comprehensive due diligence, financial and valuation analysis, and market research to shape investment strategies
    • Participating in structuring and documenting investments, and presenting proposals to internal stakeholders
    • Monitoring existing investments in the portfolio actively
    • Generating investment ideas through early engagement with relevant parties
    • Establishing and nurturing relationships with sponsors, management teams, and internal stakeholders

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in Investment Banking or Principal Investing
    • Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
    • Prior exposure to private equity or private credit is beneficial
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
    • Interest in complex credit and equity investments
    • Effective communication skills and a keen eye for detail
    • Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with MS Power Point
    • Ability to self-direct, analyze, and make independent decisions
    • Organizational skills and fluency in French, German, Italian, or Spanish are advantageous
